Each week during the football season, at the HHS Quarterback Club meetings, four players are named as "Players of the Week" for the previous game. After each varsity game, the coaches select four individuals for these prestigious awards based on their excellent performance, leadership and overall improvement.

HHS 2013 Varsity Football Senior Caleb Rotenberry receives Scholarship

Congratulations to Caleb Rotenberry! He received a scholarship from the DeMeco Ryans Foundation for 2013. The Foundation awards ten $1000.00 scholarships to students in Jefferson County. Receipt of the scholarship is based on GPA, community involvement, and a written essay.

Hueytown 2013 Varsity Football Relay for Life Car Wash

As a part of their committment for helping the community, Gopher Football players washed cars at the Hueytown McDonald's on Saturday, April 6, 2013. All proceeds were donated to the Hueytown Relay for Life which raises funds for the American Cancer Society. A total of $1296.00 was raised during the 6 hour car wash.
